I think Rachel Bilson should wear mini skirts more often. Not only will she look taller, but sexier as well.

Not to mention, it’s a great way to show off her nice gams. I often see her in tea-length dresses, which makes her appear shorter than she already is. Relatively short, her height is usually listed as approximately 5 feet 2 inches (157.5 cm) tall.

Just check out the difference between these two pictures:

The first one was taken when she attended the 2010 MET Gala. She wore Louis Vuitton from head to toe. It was a lovely dress but a tad too long for her tiny frame.

The second was when she hosted the THQ “Take No Prisoners” party in LA. Her outfit was a two-piece ensemble with a floral printed top and a high-waisted Zac Posen (her favorite designer) wrap mini skirt from the designer’s Fall 2010 collection.

For the benefit of skirt fanatics, here’s a closer look at the skirt:

The Power of High-Waisted Mini Skirts

The high-waisted mini skirt made a massive difference to her height and her legs. She looked longer and leaner, and so did her legs.

So, if you’re a tiny and short girl, please take a cue from Rachel’s latest look and opt for short skirts rather than tea-length ones. It will make a whole lot of difference. If it’s a high-waisted mini, then so much the better

Of course, if you are uncomfortable with mini skirts, you can wear knee-length pieces, but make sure you wear heels. Don’t ever wear anything tea length; go for floor length instead, as this is also elongating.

In the meantime, if you’re up to it, you can recreate Rachel’s latest look with these:
