Who would have thought that leather can look so feminine? Alexa Chung proves once again that leather is not just a piece you can inject in edgy styles. I truly can’t get enough of this it girl’s vintage-inspired style.
She showed up at the J.W. Anderson Autumn/Winter 2013 London Fashion Week show wearing an outfit inspired by the 60’s.

The cable knit chunky jumper matches so well with the leather pleated skirt from J.W. Anderson x Topshop. Alexa accessorized with black beribboned flats and black clutch. The addition of black to her light-colored attire prevented this outfit from looking too washed out. Awesome job, Alexa!
It looks like many are also fans of the J.W. Anderson x Topshop Cream Patent skirt because it is already sold out. Sorry, ladies!
This shouldn’t stop you from achieving the same look though. You too can copy Alexa’s look. It’s an outfit you can wear to work, date, stroll in the park, visiting museums, brunch with your girlfriends or even shopping.

Pleated skirts are wonderful to have in your closet. Aside from cable knitted jumper, you can pair them up with sleeveless tops, cropped tops or even graphic-printed tops. Go create different looks with the same item!
