Meet the Top 10 Skirt Bloggers of August 2014

The long summer days of August were saturated with lots of voluminous and unique skirt finds. And while we still have a few more days to enjoy some warmth on our legs, we’ll take some inspiration from the lovely skirt looks we chanced upon last month.

1. Erin Marie from New Jersey

As inspirations go, Erin’s outfit is one of our favorites. We never imagined a peplum cropped top would work so well with a pleated pleather skirt and fringed clutch but there you go! We’re filing this in our to-copy list.

2. Diana from Russia

To say that we love Diana’s flared gingham skirt is an understatement. It’s such a summery print but the structure of the skirt and her styling made this look a transitional one – perfect for those days teetering between summer and fall!

3. Andreea from Romania

Andreea

Andreea’s outfit sent pangs of envy in us. That white pencil skirt with a front slit looks so versatile and timeless. But the way she styled it with a band t-shirt cured us of our summer fatigue.

4. Vale from Italy

Scenery prints on skirts are still big this season. We’re eyeing Vale’s breathtaking midi piece. If you can’t afford to go on an overseas vacation, at least treat yourself to a similar skirt!

5. Ana from Spain

Ana

Sheer overlay skirts, anyone? Ana dressed hers up to perfection. We even think this skirt can go beyond the hot summer months!

6. Amelia from Los Angeles

Amelia

Speaking of sheer skirts, here’s one you would probably fancy. Amelia sported one with a whimsical floral print on it. No self-respecting girly girl will say nay to this skirt.

7. Natalie from Canada

We can’t get enough of lace pencil skirts! And if the said pencil skirt boasts of a beautiful blue color just like Natalie’s, it is even more difficult to peel our eyes away. Also, how cute is her matching pair of shoes?

8. Alex from Canada

You can’t go wrong with a skirt that will work for all four seasons. Take Alex’ plaid tube skirt, for instance. Wearing it with a plain shirt and a pair of booties made this outfit spot-on in our book.

9. Esther from Indiana

We are not only jealous of Esther’s outfit (which is practically an ode to summer), we’re also turning green because of her mad sewing skills. She made her printed skirt from a scarf she thrifted!

10. Lina from United States

And because everyone’s buzzing about going back to school, even those of us who have long said goodbye to the academia, we thought Lina’s matching tartan top and pleated skirt would make an inspiring look.

Now, we’re really ready to say goodbye to summer. What about you guys?
