Remember how I gushed over some colorful Gucci Spring 2011 outfits last month?

I initially thought they were two-piece outfits, and then I read somewhere that they were combo dresses.

Turns out I was right! I realized my suspicions when I saw these pictures of Kim Kardashian attending the Sugar Factory event in Vegas last week.

Kim paired the Gucci skirt with a different top, one with flounce sleeves and a detailed neckline that was not among Gucci’s spring designs.

Nonetheless, Kimmy looked fabulous in her combo dress. As for that skirt, you all know how crazy I am about its beautiful color. It’s too bad I can’t afford it, though. That particular Gucci skirt retails at a pricey $595.

It looks simple and classic, but the color makes it extra special. As you can see, it comes with two darts on each side, both on the front and back. But I also love the idea that it has a side pocket, which surprisingly does not look disturbing and out of place even though the skirt is cut close to the body.

Do you like it? If you know how to sew, you can easily copy this piece if you find the same fabric. As for those of you who don’t have the patience to make one, don’t worry; I’m sure a knock-off will surface any time soon. If I see one, I’ll be sure to let you know.
