‘Gossip Girl’ beauty, Leighton Meester, was spotted filming another round of scenes for the hit show early this week. Her pretty preppy on-screen persona – Blair Waldorf, was fashionably dressed in a cute ensemble – a three-piece outfit that included a cape topped over a blouse and skirt.
Fun accessories in the form of a patterned beret and mustard yellow purse capped off the look. The style was very “Blair” and although we loved it to bits, what kept us wondering was how that textured metallic skirt underneath looked up close.

A quick search on the WWW easily gave us the info that we wanted. Underneath that coat, Blake is wearing this wool blend pleated skirt from Alice + Olivia. The piece is tri-toned and features gold, brown, and white flecks all over. The skirt closes at the back with a zipper, but it also includes a textured knit panel on the waistband to provide some degree of stretch for those who need the extra room.
