It’s a relaxed day for Jessica Alba as she and her two daughters head to Le Pain for some grub. I guess much of the reason why we are getting a “relaxed” vibe from her is because of her outfit.

The actress wore an army-style jacket and a solid-colored top with a breezy maxi skirt. We haven’t really thought much about the aesthetic merits of printed skirts with army style jackets but seeing this on Jessica, we think it really has promise.

I guess it’s just a matter of having the right colors to go with the jacket. The grey-green hue of the jacket shares some of the colors of the skirt, creating a cohesive look. Jessica then threw purple to liven up the outfit.

The styling is also effortless. This can be dressed up with a cute pair of strappy flat sandals but for a stress-free day, something like Jessica’s flip flops should work just as nicely. It also helped that she was lugging around a designer bag.

So make the most out of the remaining days of summer and wear something like this. Here are some printed maxi skirts similar to what Jessica wore:

1. Versace Maxi Skirt, $1,595.00

2. Philipp Plein Tiger Paw Maxi Skirt, $1766.01

3. Topshop Dot Floral Print Maxi Skirt, $96.00

These skirts are also great when worn with army-style jackets so you can easily copy Jessica Alba’s outfit with them.
