Samantha Jones is going back on the small screen—well, at least a younger version of her is. It’s official, Lindsey Gort will play the young Samantha Jones on the CW Show The Carrie Diaries alongside AnnaSophia Robb, who of course plays the iconic Carrie Bradshaw.
Isn’t she such a dead ringer for Kim Cattrall, who played Samantha Jones in Sex and the City?
Kim herself gave Lindsey a sweet shout-out via Twitter as her way of showing her blessing to play the very sexy, blunt, and unforgettable character: “@LindseyGort So happy u’re playing Fearless Sam! The key 2 her is her heart. She never judges those she loves. Have a blast! Kimx”.

Lindsey even showed a lot of sass and flair on set that’s fairly reminiscent of how Samantha Jones was back in the days.
She was seen strutting her stuff in a very sexy ensemble consisting of a black see-through mesh cropped top, which showed off her hot red bra, and a leopard-print bodycon skirt that hugged her body just right.

So what are your thoughts on Lindsey Gort playing a younger version of Samantha Jones? Basing on these photos, it seems like she’s doing a pretty good job but we’ll have to wait till the season premiere to really see what she has in store for us.
