It’s been a while since we’ve written about Olivia Palermo. The socialite was off our radar for a while until we saw her leaving the Plaza nail salon in Tribeca last Tuesday. The fashionista was dressed in spring’s best trends while enjoying the windy weather. She paired a sheer micro pleated maxi skirt with a button down, some flats, and an extra large native tote. All in all, the look was easy, breezy, and super cool. The interesting part is, she wore the same dress months back in London Fashion Week of which we got the pictures here:

We definitely love this style; it’s chic, it’s not hard to copy, AND it’s affordable. If you MUST know, the sheer skirt is from Topshop. It retails at GBP60 or about $98 if converted. If you want to buy it, you can check the Topshop website. It’s called the Skeleton Maxi Skirt:

To complete Olivia’s style, you can grab the shirt from Mango. That one you retails for $89.90 on the Mango website. As you can see, those two pieces will cost you less than $200. Now if you you have a lot of cash stashed inside your closet, then feel free to make the look your own by grabbing this silk skirt from Opening Ceremony instead:

It’s not pleated, nor is it grey, but wearing this piece will give a different flavor to your look. Pair it with a white shirt, a black belt, and finish it off with some some flats and you’re good to go!
