Being a huge skirt girl herself, Olivia Palermo never fails to treat our eyes to the most gorgeous skirt finds ever – and her pick for the Dennis Basso show during the New York Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2014 was no exemption. Our stylish girl chose an interesting pattern-and-fringe skirt for the show, distracting spectators’ eyes away from the runway to gawk at her awe-inspiring skirt (or at least we think that’s what happened).
The 27-year-old socialite chose a unique leather-fringed woven skirt by Willow, which came with a matching top in the same weave, leather trimmings, and black silk. She concluded her look with a white Tibi “Tatersol” jacket, a red-trimmed leather envelope clutch from Reiss, zebra-print heels from Giuseppe Zanotti, and Ray-Ban tortoiseshell sunnies.

The skirt is mostly made out of cotton-and-leather woven tweed fabric, made even more unique by the hand-cut leather strips that trim the hem. The strict pencil silhouette gives the skirt’s exotic flair just enough authority for balance, making this Willow creation flexible enough to wear as a day-to-night piece.
This unique cotton-and-leather two-piece has unfortunately sold out.
