Olivia Wilde was spotted in a maxi skirt last Thursday. The actress wore her black paneled piece to the 2011 Fresh Air Fund: Salute To American Heroes, where she was an honoree.

The Tron: Legacy star opted for a classic look by pairing her black skirt with a white v-neck sleeveless top and black peep-toes pumps.

What do you think of Olivia’s style? Hot or not?

Personally, I would have to say an accessory or two would have done the trick. A stunning belt or neckpiece (maybe a bib necklace) would have made a huge difference.

I’m sure she was trying to go for minimalistic style, but it didn’t work to her advantage. The top and the skirt are from Rag & Bone. Olivia styled a Florence top with a feather skirt.

As you can see, it is constructed uniquely with asymmetric panels all over. The piece is made of silk chiffon so you can trust it to be flowy.

You can pair this with your own white v-neck tank to copy Olivia’s look. Just remember to accessorize with a stunning neckpiece.

If you prefer pure minimalistic style, then I suggest you head over to Shopbop and grab the red version instead.

The bright and hot color of this skirt would be enough of a statement for your look; you won’t even need to accessorize.

Simply pair it with a white top and you’re all set. So which one will you be getting? The black or the red?
