Top 10 Skirt Bloggers of January 2014

It might not be leg-baring season, but we are happy to see fashion bloggers making their skirts work even in this frigid weather. This really proves that nothing can impede style, not even external elements!

Without further ado, let us introduce you to our favorite skirt bloggers this month:

1. Laura from Germany

Laura

We are always smitten with Parisian looks that cleverly mesh menswear with womenswear. Take a look at Laura’s outfit featuring a pinstripe flounce skirt from Zara. That skirt has both modern and classic panache that reeled us in.

2. Jacqueline from Brazil

Jacqueline

Wrap skirts are everywhere this season, but we are particularly smitten with blogger Jacqueline’s leather piece. It’s current and flattering and can pretty much work with any type of top and outerwear. Talk about versatility!

3. Olga from South Korea

Olga

One of the skirt designs we are all over this season is the boxy pleated kind. It is universally flattering, and it can inject feminine vibe into an outfit in a jiffy. In fact, you can pretty much let it do the showing off for you. Just check out Olga’s outfit! The skirt doesn’t even need much accessorizing because it’s gorgeous on its own.

4. Michele from Switzerland

Michele

Skater skirts are always a huge hit for us, but we occasionally look for something new in skater skirt designs. We finally found it in Michele’s. It is uniquely belted and has a quirky floral design.

5. Katrina from Russia

Katrina

Flounce skirts show more versatility than we give it credit for. They work for a variety of outfit and styles, including sporty ones. Here’s a sterling example. Katrina’s gorgeous flounce skirt surprisingly worked with the outdoorsy vibe of the other pieces in her ensemble, but we reckon it’ll fit in nicely with more feminine pairings as well.

6. Luna from United States

Luna

Trust Luna to find the quirkiest skirts! She really scores the best thrift finds. This pleated skirt is such a surprising choice amidst the plain and plaid trends we’ve been seeing as of late.

7. Dominique from California

Plaid skirts have dominated the fashion scene these past few months. But unlike the reds and the blues we’ve spotted, Dominique’s yellow plaid skirt introduced us to a different plaid palette. How unexpected!

8. Paris from Romania

Paris

We are more than happy to see full midi skirts in action. It looks like the fashion industry isn’t tired of it yet. Midi skirts are just so festive, and they quickly infuse even the most basic of pieces with glamorous vibe. Check out Paris’ outfit featuring her emerald green full skirt, and tell us if you agree.

9. Esmirna from Arizona

Esmirna

How adorable is Esmirna’s Minkpink skirt? The electric pleats make it interesting, and the pop of green at the bottom gave it a pretty twist.

10. Yunique from Singapore

Yunique

Here’s another wrap skirt to love. Yunique looks like she just stepped out of a Josh Goot editorial. How gorgeous!

So, what do you guys think about our top picks for this month? Which one is your favorite and why? We would love to know your thoughts!
